2024 Highlights
This was a very good season for the BSM softball team. Their regular season record of 3 and 12 earned them the #3 seed in the Section 6AAA tournament. The Red Knights first beat Robbinsdale Cooper 16-2 in the first round of Section play and then topped #2 seed DeLaSalle in the quarterfinals. The team then lost to Orono 5-2 in the semifinal dropping the Red Knights into the elimination bracket of the double elimination tournament. BSM then dispatched DeLaSalle 7-1 in the Class 3A, Section 6 Elimination Bracket Finals setting up a show down with Orono for the right to go to the MSHSL State Tournament. The team advanced to the MSHSL State tournament in dramatic fashion after a doubleheader victory over Spartans in the Class 3A, Section 6 Finals (4-1 and 11-10)
