2024 Highlights
This was a another very good season for the BSM baseball team. Their conference record of 8-1 earned the Metro West Conference title and their season record of 16-2 earned the Red Knights the #1 seed in the Section 6AAA tournament.
The Red Knights first beat Minneapolis Patrick Henry 20-0 in the first round of Section play and then topped #5 seed Orono 6-5 in the section quarterfinals. The team then topped Delano 10-0 to go undefeated in the semifinals of the championship bracket of the double elimination tournament. The Red Knights fell to Delano 2-0 in the championship game leaving both teams with one loss setting up a show down with Delano in the second championship game for the right to go to the MSHSL State Tournament. The Red Knights dispatched Delano 6-2 and advanced to the MSHSL State tournament for the third consecutive time.
