Business Professionals of America serves as an innovator in Career and Technical Education, providing our members with opportunities for growth through education, competition, community service, and personal development.
BPA focuses on students preparing for their two competitive events. Students choose their two events from a wide variety of tested events (like Fundamental Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Personal Financial Management, Business Law & Ethics), judged events (like Interview Skills, Economic Research, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, and Graphic Design Promotion), or team events (like Global Marketing Team, Small Business Management Team, Podcast Production Team, Video Production Team, and Financial Analysis Team).
Those a just some of the many competitive events that students typically compete in. Once participants have chosen their events, they prepare for the regional competition typically held in late January/early February. Those students who do well in regionals can move on to the state competition in March and from there, the national competition in May.
