General Information
The One-Act play is a Minnesota State High School League competition. The rules require that the play be no longer than 35 minutes in performance length, and that the total number of participants — comprising actors and tech crew — be no more than 20 in total.
The One Act has been said to be much less stressful than the traditional BSM fall and spring musicals.

Time Commitment: Auditions are held in early December, with rehearsals running through December and January; conference and section competitions take place in January through February.
